GROUP INTERVENTIONS IN PSYCHOSOCIAL CARE CENTERS FOR ALCOHOL AND DRUGS: CHALLENGES OF CARE PRACTICE

ABSTRACT Objective: to understand the challenges of care practice with group interventions Psychosocial Care Centers for Alcohol and Drugs. Method: qualitative intervention research developed 30 professionals from four Drug in a municipality central Brazil March April 2019. We used professional characterization instrument conversation wheels collect data that were submitted thematic modality content analysis. Results: some permeate CAPSad evidenced, professionals' perspective, such as inadequate physical structure scarcity material resources; issues related aspects users difficulty adhesion commitment groups, incompatible work schedules lack financial resources travel centers; factors competence not having affinity absence specific training, prioritization other practices, demotivation, records performing patient discharge and; processes outpatient organizational culture, very high demand, insufficient human resources, external supervision, few offers therapeutic groups criteria definition coordinators. Conclusion: experienced include deficient difficulties life contexts users, services.
